Comment from student: Thank You! Now I could see that it is not geometry, but it's one of the problems we had to work on in geometry.

Comment from student: I can't thank you enough....thank you nycsharkman. I have been working this problem over and over and my book doesn't do a very good job of explaining it to me. Perhaps, I've just been out of school too long. Because of each step you provided, I was able to work similar problems correctly. Thanks again!

Comment from student: OMG... thank you soo much! i can actually understand it now! You made this so clear for me, again thank you!

Comment from student: Thank you sooooo much nycsharkman!!! I really appreciate it!!! This helped a lot!! The problem I was having was when I was suppose to "Bring the right side to the left side and equate to zero like this x^2 + x^2 - 2x = 0 ". Before that and after that I could do everything else though. Thanks again for your help!!!

Comment from student: Thank you for taking the time to respond to this question: My son is learning geometry and I am lost. He only has a worksheet for his assignment. The question is this: The triangles below are similar (there are two). a) name the pairs of corresponding sides b)name the pairs of corresponding angles How does he go about solving this problem. Thank you. Here is my problem. I know nothing about geometry so cannot tell you the information related to the similar triangles because I don't know how they are related. They just look like different sized triangles to me. I thought that perhaps you could tell us if we need to measure the sides of each one or try to figure out the angles or something like that. I don't know how to send you a picture of the triangles. Perhaps you can direct me to some bonehead site that can help me to understand the subject matter. Thanks

Comment from student: Yes thank you I am going to print this!

Comment from student: Thank You for your help!! I appreciate that!
