Comment from student: Thankyou very much,but you lost me. I still don't know where you got the -4y and the 8. Are you adding 3+1 and then multiplying by 2 to get 8? I thought the 2 canceled it self out. Are we using the 2x from the previous problem? I'm sorry about this, but I'm trying to "get it".Can you explain? Thankyou
