Comment from student: X+X+75=100
2x=25
X=12.5
X+75=87.5
Steve 12.5
Mom 87.5
Comment from student: Ok. If Steve weighs 25 pounds and mom weighs 75 pounds that equals 100 pounds but not 75 pounds more than Steve. That's 50 pounds more than Steve. Correct?
Comment from student: Im sorry i must have wrote it wrong i meant 8 minus the fraction w over 10 equals 3/5
