where x=1, the slope is 9-3(1)=6
where x=1, f(x)=8
equation of a line with slope 6 and (1, 8) use point slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1) where m is slope and (x1, y1) point
y-8=6(x-1)
y-8=6x-6 or y=6x+2
Parallel lines have the same slope, so need another place where slope is 6
9-3x^2=6
3x^2=3
