They randomly sample 400 individuals in their viewing area and find that, on average, people watch 3.5 hours of television a day. It is known, however, that the population standard deviation is 2.0 hours.

c - interpret the result of the confidence interval in a sentence or two
Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Sample mean = 2.4, SD = 2
SE = 2/sqrt(400)
ME = 2.576 (.1) = .2576
CI: 2.4 - .26 < u < 2.4 + .26
CI: (2.14, 2.66)
CI: (2.1, 2.7)
