Since you did not include any equations, all I can tell you is general info on the equations of lines...
1: find the slope of the line (put the equation into slope-intercept form: {{{y=mx+b}}})
2: if the lines are parallel, the slope (m) will be the same, but the y-intercept (b) will be different.
