Question 15392
Well, it appears that this is a tongue twister, intimidating more than difficult. Start at the beginning.

Gabby's guppy had 36 --  Given
Gail's guppy had 16  --  Given
Gus's guppy  = Gordon's guppy - 11  We'll come back to this one!
Greg's guppy = Gabby's guppy - 15 = 36 -15= 21

Greg's guppy = 3 more than Gus, so
Gus's guppy = 3 less than Greg's = 21 - 3= 18

Go back to Gus and Gordon:
Gus = Gordon -11, so
Gordon = Gus + 11  (where Gus = 18)
       = 18+11 = 29

Does that do it??
