Question 10776
You said 5y raised to the 5th power, with NO MENTION of PARENTHESES! I will assume that you meant this:

{{{5y^5}}}, when y = 2.

So, substitute 2 in place of the y, raise it to the 5th power, which is 32, then multiply the result times 5. It looks like this:

{{{5*2^5}}}
{{{5* 32}}}
{{{160}}}

If you had meant {{{(5y)^5}}}, then that would have been quite something else.  That would have been to do what is within the parentheses first: {{{(5*2)^5}}}
{{{10^5}}}
{{{100000}}}

I'm glad you didn't ask THAT one!!
