So our equation to solve is:

{{{(20+x)/4=7}}}  multiply both sides by 4
{{{(20+x)=28}}}  subtract 20 from both sides
{{{20-20+x=28-20}}}
{{{x=8}}}

{{{28/4=7}}}
{{{7=7}}}
