Question 9322
If the slope is an integer (no fractions involved!), then just get the x and y terms on the same side of the equation, preferably making the x coefficient a positive number.

If the slope is a fraction, then multiply both sides of the equation by the LCD, and clear the fraction. Then get the x and y terms on the same side of the equation, again preferably in such a way as to make the x coefficient positive.

For example:  {{{y = (-3/4)*x + 5}}}

Multiply both sides by 4:

{{{4y = -3x + 20}}}

Now add +3x to each side:
{{{3x + 4y = 20}}}
