I need to find the z-score and the r for the data of 
x=4,5,6,8 and y=9,11,13,17

I need the zx and zy 
I have tried to come up with the mean and the standard of deviation for the formula and am still getting my answers wrong. I got the mean for x as 5.75 and y as 12.5 and then the standrd deviation is x=1.7078 and y =3.4157 I am so lost.
