can you help me simplify the equation of (-4/c)and the exponent of 2?

Equations have equal signs.
Equal, equate, equation
{{{(-4/c)^2}}} has no equal sign, so it's not an equation.
------------------
{{{(-4/c)^2 = (-4)^2/c^2 = 16/c^2}}}
Is that simpler?  Or just different?
