Evaluate log5(3125). I am not sure how to make the 5 small just below the g on log.
To evaluate this you have to use the cahnge of base formula and a scientific calculator.
Change of base formula is:{{{loga(b)=ln(b)/(ln(a))}}}or log(b)/log(a)
log5(3125)=ln(3125)/ln(5)=8.047189562/1.609437912=5

If you knew that 3125=5^5  then
log5(3125)=log5(5^5)=5
