Question 632364
Let x = number of hours driving until they meet.
Distance of Sandy = R*T = 60x
Distance of Kelvin = R*T= 50x

Total Distance = 385 miles
60x + 50x = 385
110x = 385
x=385/110=3 55/110
x=3.5 hours

Since they left at 3:00 pm, add 3.5 hours, and they will meet at 6:30 pm.
