Question 614922
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Let *[tex \LARGE x] be the first number and then *[tex \LARGE x\ +\ 1] is the next consecutive number. Then if their product is 90:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x(x\ +\ 1)\ =\ 90]

Put the quadratic into standard form, then solve for *[tex \LARGE x]. Discard the positive root since the problem asks you to find negative integers. Then calculate *[tex \LARGE x\ +\ 1]

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi}\ +\ 1\ =\ 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
