Well, Dan shovels at the rate of 1/45 driveway per min
Janice shovels at the rate of 1/75 driveway per min
soooo, ratio of Dan's shoveling time to Janice's shoveling time =(1/45)/(1/75)= (1/45)(75/1)=75/45=5/3.  In other words, Dan can shovel 5 driveways to Janice's 3.
