Question 567977
I agree with your solution so far, except that I would write
y=-4/(-6x)+-5/6  where I read y=-4/6x+-5/6
I guess it was somehow changed in entering it, but y=2/3x-5/6 anyway.

With {{{4x-6y=5}}} and {{{y=-(3/2)x+8}}}, we can substitute and get
{{{4x-6(-(3/2)x+8)=5}}} --> {{{4x+9x-48=5}}} --> {{{13x-48=5}}} --> {{{13x=53}}} --> {{{highlight(x=53/13)}}}
{{{y=-(3/2)(53/13)+8}}} --> {{{y=-159/26+8}}} --> {{{y=-159/26+8}}} --> {{{y=-159/26+208/26}}} --> {{{highlight(y=49/26)}}}
