Question 342391
The perimeter of a rectangle with length L and width W is {{{P=2L+2W}}}. Since "The length of the rectangle is four more than the width" we know that {{{L=4W}}}. In addition, because "The perimeter of a rectangle is 24 centimeters" we can say that {{{P=24}}}.

So this means that the equation is {{{24=2(4W)+2W}}}. Let me know if that helps.
