Question 254931
5/x >= -1
.
This is a rational inequality.
We have to find the zeros of the numerator and undefined parts from the denominator.
5-5=0 so -5 is the zero of the numerator
when x=0 then the inequality is undefined.
.
Now we have to test on either side of -5 and x=0:
x=-6 5/-6=-5/6 which is >-1
x=-1 5/-1=-5 which is <-1
x=1 5/1=5 which is >-1
.
-5=>x>0 or (-infinity, -5] U (0.infinity)
