Question 31020
Hello!
You should use the following polynomial identity:

{{{(a-b)^2 = a^2 - 2*a*b + b^2}}}

This means that your equation

 {{{(a^2 - 2*a*b + b^2)/(a-b)}}}

can be rewritten as:

 {{{((a-b)^2)/(a-b)= ((a-b)(a-b))/(a-b)}}}

So simplifying the (a-b) leaves us with:

 {{{ ((a-b)(a-b))/(a-b) = a-b}}}

The result is simply a - b

I hope this helps!
