I presume you mean that the angle that measures *[tex \LARGE 5x\ +\ 10] and the angle that measures *[tex \LARGE 3x] are complementary angles.  To the extent that is true, you can say:

because the sum of the measures of two complementary angles is 90 degrees.


So just solve for *[tex \Large x] and substitute that value back into the given expressions for the measures of the two angles.
