how do i translate the difference between the square of c and the total of c and fourteen into a variable expression


Step 1.  Square of c is translated as {{{c^2}}}


Step 2.  Total of c and fourteen  is translated as {{{c+14}}}


Step 3.  Then the difference between the square of c and the total of c and fourteen is translated as


{{{c^2-(c+14)}}}


Step 4.  ANSWER:  {{{c^2-(c+14)}}} or {{{c^2-c-14}}}
