You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You describe what happens to the function at the far ends
of the x-axis. That is to describe what happens to the
function as x gets arbitrarily positively large and what
happens to the function when x get arbitrarily negatively
small.
Another way to say it is:
Find the limit of f(x) as x goes to + infinity.
Find the limit of f(x) as x goes to - infinity.
