Question 740850: My son is doing homework and I am no good at algerba, if I could get the answer I could try to work backwards to explain the concept
Q/Angle a is x degrees. angle b is 20 degrees larger. how many degrees is B

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What they are trying to show is that you can add and subtract
angles just like ordinary numbers. Also you can replace the
numbers with letters.
given:
Angle a is +x+ degrees
Angle b is +20+ degrees larger than a
Angle b = +x+%2B+20+
--------------------
Suppose +x+=+20+ degrees
Then, angle b = +x+%2B+20+=+20+%2B+20+
+20+%2B+20+=+40+
So, angle a = 20 degrees
Angle b = 40 degrees
