  • Put parentheses around numerators and denominators, especially if they have multiple terms. What you posted meant:
    x%2B1%2F%28x%2B7%29%28x-4%29
    which I suspect is not the expression you intended.
  • The expression has nothing to do with logarithms. Please post questions under a relevant category.
