so 6 3/4 is the same as 6 6/8

is really the two lengths 6 6/8 and 6 3/8

Since 6/8 > 3/8 (6 is greater than 3), we can say that 6 6/8 is larger.

Therefore, the first length, 6 3/4 is larger.
