finding the domain for 

f%28x%29=1%2F%28x%5E2-4x-5%29+=+1%2F%28%28x%2B1%29%28x-5%29%29

When: (x+1)(x-5)= 0, x = -1  0r x = 5

domain is all real numbers except x = -1  and x = 5

Denominator cannot be ZERO
