-11%2B4z=2z%2B2 Combine like terms on the left side.


4z=2z%2B2%2B11 Add 11 to both sides.


4z-2z=2%2B11 Subtract 2z from both sides.


2z=2%2B11 Combine like terms on the left side.


2z=13 Combine like terms on the right side.


z=%2813%29%2F%282%29 Divide both sides by 2 to isolate z.
