no, when multiplying negatives with a positive the answer is always negative, when multiplying two negatives, the answer is positive.
2%28x-3%29-3%28x%2B5%29=3%28x-2%29-7
to solve this question we must expand the terms into the brackets.
2x-6-3x-15=3x-6-7
we can combine these terms
-x-21=3X-13
add x to both sides,
-21=4X-13
add 13 to both sides
-8=4X
divide out 4 to isolate x
x=-2
