Given that log a (x)=3.58 and log a (y)=4.79. find loga(y/x).
log(y/x)=log(y)-log(x)=4.79-3.58=1.21
My answer is 8.37, is this right. ...no you did log(xy)which is log(x)+log(y)=8.37
