Question 419620: I really need some help with understanding how to find the midpoint of the line segment having the given endpoints of (-9,-3) and (2,7)
I am thinking it would be m (-7/2, 2)
But I am not sure. How can I make sure?
Thanks :o)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
endpoints of (-9,-3) and (2,7)
---
You are right.
If (x,y) is the mid-point
x = (-9+2)/2 = -7/2
y = (-3+7)/2 = 2
----
The x and the y are the average of
the x and y coordinates.
