Note: the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b 

where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.  

2x-3y=6  Solving for y to put into slope-intercept form

2x - 6 = 3y

y = (2/3)x - 2  

m = (2/3)

parallel lines have identical slopes.  Answer C would be the correct choice
