Question 196340: Is there more than one correct solution when writing geometric proofs, i.e., perhaps a longer proof than the one provided or one where the order of steps might differ?
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! absolutely,, most of the time mathematicians are so happy to get any proof, they stop at one.
.
However, not only can they be longer, more steps, or in a different order, we even can use different theories.
.
For example, when using parallel lines, we have vertical angles, corresponding angles,
alternate interior angles, to use in different paths to a proof
.
Just remember the basics, justification must be a postulate or a theorem previously proven.
