You can put this solution on YOUR website! 3* x - 1 = 5
-----------
3 1/3x - 1 1/6 = 5 1/2
(10/3)x - (7/6) = (11/2)
Multiply thru by 6 to get rid of the denominators:
20x - 7 = 33
20x = 40
x = 2
