\n" ); document.write( " I wrote on here a couple days ago asking for help with my algebra homework with the linear equations. I understand now to do ones with the variables on the two sides of the equality like y=3x-2. I know that X=0 and also 3 and Y=2 and 0 on the T chart for the graphing.
\n" ); document.write( "Now the part that I'm having a hard time with is when the X and Y are on the same side of the equality like for example 2x+3=6. I'm having a rough time getting the T chart X and Ys for these problems.
\n" ); document.write( "any help would be really helpful as I have a quiz on Tuesday that I don't wanna fail.
\n" ); document.write( "Two ther examples of the ones I don't understand are 2x-3y=6 and also 3x+4y=12
\n" ); document.write( "thank you so much in advance.
\n" ); document.write( "

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
hello all,
\n" ); document.write( " I wrote on here a couple days ago asking for help with my algebra homework with the linear equations.
You asked for a T-chart and nothing else. I don't know why the other person did everything except give you a T-chart.
\n" ); document.write( "I think you meant, 2x + 3y = 6, and NOT 2x + 3 = 6
\n" ); document.write( "Now, we get: 3y = - 2x + 6, and we can clearly see that the right side needs to be DIVIDED by 3, so this is why I chose values that are MULTIPLES of 3, and including 0.
\n" ); document.write( "These are: 0, 3, 6, 9, and 12. With that, I'm able to get integer values for y.
\n" ); document.write( "You now have 5 points with which to plot the graph, since you need to set up a T-table.
\n" ); document.write( "===============
\n" ); document.write( "\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\r\n" ); document.write( "\n" ); document.write( "
xyCoordinate Point
0 3y = - 2(0) + 6_____3y = 6_____y = 2 (0, 2)
3 3y = - 2(3) + 6_____3y = 0_____y = 0 (3, 0)
6 3y = - 2(6) + 6_____3y = - 6_____y = - 2 (6, - 2)
93y = - 2(9) + 6_____3y = - 12_____y = - 4 (9, - 4)
123y = - 2(12) + 6_____3y = - 18_____y = - 6 (12, - 6)

\n" ); document.write( "You should now be able to do the other 2 equations: 2x - 3y = 6 and 3x + 4y = 12, by using the same method. If not, write back! \n" ); document.write( "
\n" );
