Algebra.Com's Answer #651310 by Aldorozos(172)![]() ![]() ![]() You can put this solution on YOUR website! part of this problem is missing. I add one more sentence to the end of the question to make it more meaningful. How many kilometers does she walk if she walks half of the distance. In this case the answer is 2 kilometers. If she completes the distanc in 4 hours and walks 4 miles an hour to compete the distance, then the distance from home to bus station is 4 km. To cover half of the distance at speed of 4 km an hour, she has to walk for 30 minutes. Of course if she runs 5 kmh she can finish the rest of the distance I'm shorter time. She can walk 30 minutes and run 20 minutes to get to the bus. \n" ); document.write( " |
