document.write( "What I don't understand most is how they got 126/10 and 251/3. Where are the denominators of those fractions coming from? I do know how 251 came about (from the 83 & 2/3). What I have done is set up my equation exactly like the site has however I thought you have to multiply 12.6 (251) divided by 100 to get x. Please help!\r

Algebra.Com's Answer #601665 by Alan3354(69443)![]() ![]() You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find 83 2/3 % of 12.6 \n" ); document.write( "------------- \n" ); document.write( "83 2/3 % = 251/3 % \n" ); document.write( "% = per hundred \n" ); document.write( "--> (251/3)/100 \n" ); document.write( "----------------------------- \n" ); document.write( "12.6*(251/3)/100 = 10.542 \n" ); document.write( " |
