You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You have to remember the equation for a line - which is the following: y=mx+b . x stands for the slope of the line ( rise over run ) and b stands for where the line intercepts the y axis. So, according to your values that are given, your equation of your line is as follows : y=4x-2 Your slope of your line is ALWAYS rise over run - in this case it is 4 up and 1 over ( 4/1 is still 4 ) When you graph, start at -2 on the y axis ( vertical axis ) and go 4 up from here and 1 over. Next connect this point with your -2 on the y axis and draw your line. I hope this helps you!? Your math friend, Terry cats7051@yahoo.com \n" ); document.write( "
