I was able to get very close to the right answer by taking the square root of 13.5 Then I multiplied that by 4 to find the perimeter of the square. Then I multiplied that by four to find the perimeter (which I know to be 15 because the answer is in the back of the book). Then I multiplied the perimeter by 1/5 to find the length of one side, then I could subtract to find the other side. My answers were close to the answers in the book but they were still off by fractions. I need to know how to set up and solve the equation using the distributive property!<BR>\n" );
