The 90 should be crossed out and replaced by 89 and the middle 60 on the top row should be crossed out and replaced with a 59 -- just like 'borrowing' you learned in the 2nd grade -- the only difference being that you are borrowing 60 minutes or 60 seconds of arc instead of 10 units.
