Question 163505: Solve the following equations.
1) 2x = 7x + 2
2x - 7x = 7x - 7x + 2
-5x = 2
x = -2/5
2) y/5 = 4
y/5 * 5 = 4 * 5 (Multiply both sides by 5)
y = 20
3) x/2 - 3 = 4
x/2 - 3 + 3 = 4 + 3
x/2 = 7 (Multiply both sides by 2)
x = 14
