3) if a customer buys 20 2x4's 8ft long, at $4.75 each,

Here is the problem i have to factor W2+10w+16 of course the 2 after the W is to the power of type of 2. How is this done? Why is there a capital W and a little one too w? Please help me figure this one out please and thanks.

Question 223291: Factor each polynomial completely. a2b + 2ab - 15b The 2 between the first a and b is a to the power 2, for some reason I cannot make them into the little number they are supposed to be, I hope you do not think i am an idoit because of that.
