Question 895891: The density of steel is 503 lb / cu. ft. What is the mass (in kg) of a steel cylinder puck, whose height is 3 cm, and whose radius is 15 cm?
Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
puck volume = cm^3 = 0.0749 ft^3
density = mass * volume ----> mass = density/volume
density/volume
= (503 lb/ft^3) * (0.0749 ft^3) = 37.7 lb = 17.1 kg
