Algebraic Version
Multiply both sides by 10
The car is 420 centimeters long.
Non-Algebraic Version
If the model car is 1/10 of the real car, then 10 times the model car must be the size of the real car.
Because the model is 42cm, the real car must be 420 centimeters long.
