Question 779855: You drive in Canada where the distances are marked in kilometers. The sign says you are 80 km from Ottawa. You are traveling at a speed of 75 mi/h. Would you reach Ottawa within one hour, after one hour, or later than that?
Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If 80 km is a shorter distance than 75 miles, the distance you travel in one hour if you are going 75 miles per hour, then you get there in less than one hour. If 80 km is the same as 75 miles, you get there in one hour, but if 80 km is farther than 75 miles, it takes longer than one hour.
