Remember this exact conversion;
(1) 60mph = 88fps
Let x = fps when travelling at 44mph
Then use the proportion
(2) x/44 = 88/60 or
(2) x = 44*88/60 or
(3) x = 64.5333...
Answer: 44mph = 64.533...fps

Answer by sofiyac(983)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 mile=5280 feet
1 hour=3600 seconds

next you can cancel out "miles" and "hours", once you do that you're left with feet per second
feet per second
