Question 699719: Hi I would be so grateful if you could help me do this very simple conversion that I just can't get my head around.I wish to convert a 16% solution, which is 20.800 ounces:3785 mls. I need to convert the mixture from 3785 mls to 18 mls but I am unsure of how to convert the 20.800 ounces (589.670081 grams) and still maintain the 16% solution ratio. My thinking was to divide the 3785 mls by 18 mls, which is 210.3 and then divide the 210.3 into the 20.800 ounces (589.670081 grams), which converts to 28 grams but it seems way too much but clearly I have no idea. Please help.

I wish to convert a 16% solution, which is 20.800 ounces:3785 mls. I need to convert the mixture from 3785 mls to 18 mls but I am unsure of how to convert the 20.800 ounces (589.670081 grams) and still maintain the 16% solution ratio.
-------------------
Use a proportion to maintain the percentage.
------
x/18mls = 20.8/3685
----
x = 18(20.8/3685)
----
x = 0.1016 ounces
