When would you use unit conversion in math?
----
When you want to convert from some unit to another.
For example to change from miles per hour to feet per second.
----
20 mph(1 hr/3600 sec)(5280 ft/1 mile) = (20*1*5280)/(1*3600*1)(ft/sec)
===
= 105600/3600 (ft/sec)
---
= 29 1/3 ft/sec
