On his birthday Steven announced, "I have lived a quarter of my life as a boy, 1/5 of my life as a teenager, and 1/3 as a young man. And the 13 years since then has been the best part of my life!" How old is Steven today?

The fractions of his life are totalled first
LCD = 60

The remaining part of his life would therefore be 13/60 which happens to be thirteen years so he must be 60.
