Question 265263: The Kelp Forest exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium holds 335,000 gallons. How many days would it take to fill it at a rate of 1 gallon per second? I also need the work of how to do it?
Answer by drk(1908) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 gallon / sec x 60 sec/ min x 60 min / hr x 24 hr / day = 86400 gallon / day
flip this over and we get day / (86400 gallon) x 335000 gallon = 3.877 days
